Evans Head Holiday Park: Best Holiday Park North Coast (More than 100 sites)

Evans Head Holiday Park is located on the far NSW north coast, just two hours south of Brisbane. It is the perfect spot for visitors wishing to explore the wider Northern Rivers region. The park is just minutes from the Pacific Highway, but you’ll feel like you’re in a world of your own, surrounded by natural, unspoilt land. The Evans River leads to the spectacular headland where there are 6 kilometres of sand and surf to enjoy. The holiday park is a short distance from stunning national parkland, where visitors can explore the area by foot or 4WD.

The park had the honour of being awarded the Best Holiday Park North Coast and boasts excellent ratings from other online sources such as TripAdvisor. The facilities are well looked after and include a fantastic children’s play area, a camp kitchen and BBQ area, free WiFi and accessible amenities. The park offers 23 self-contained cabins and several powered and unpowered campsites on grassland and riverfront and with ensuite facilities.

Tweed Coast Holiday Parks Pottsville South: Best Holiday Park North Coast (100 sites or less)

Tweed Coast Holiday Parks Pottsville South is located on the tranquil banks of the stunning Mooball Creek in the small town of Pottsville. The park is the perfect location for visitors wishing to relax and enjoy the many water sports on the creek as well as get out and discover all that the Tweed Coast has to offer. The sub-tropical climate makes the Tweed Coast an ideal holiday spot year-round.

Tweed Coast Holiday Parks Pottsville South was awarded the Best Holiday Park North Coast and certainly combines natural beauty with convenient luxury. The amenities are fully accessible and there are waterfront BBQs and WiFi available. The accommodation includes:

Mittagong Caravan Park and Rainbow Pines Tourist Caravan Park are two very distinct inland parks that shared the award for the Best Holiday Park Inland. Both parks are located on Crown land.

Mittagong Caravan Park is in the township of Mittagong in the picturesque landscape of the Southern Highlands. The Highlands is a unique holiday location a few short hours south-west of Sydney. The area has a rare combination of natural and community attractions including award-winning restaurants, wineries and cafés, and spectacular horse riding, bushwalking and 4WD tours. The recently renovated park facilities include free WiFi, a fantastic playground, camp kitchen, BBQ area and picnic tables, as well as an on-site shop and amenities.

Accommodation includes a range of self-contained cabins as well as unpowered and powered campsites.

The other award-winning park is the Rainbow Pines Tourist Caravan Park. This park is located on the banks of the gorgeous Lake Eucumbene by the breathtaking Snowy Mountains. The surrounding area has many attractions and holiday activities. Lake Eucumbene is a fantastic fishing spot and the park is a short distance from the best ski slopes in NSW. Facilities include an on-site convenience store and an accessible, heated amenities block.
