About Us

About Us

The Department of Planning and Environment manages New South Wales’ Crown land, which covers 42% of the state, including parksreserves, roads and cemeteries.

Protecting and enhancing Crown land is essential for business, tourism, recreation, wellbeing and the biodiversity of the state. Crown land has significant spiritual, social, cultural and economic importance to the Aboriginal people of New South Wales (NSW).

With more than 270 caravan parks and camping grounds located on Crown reserves, this website showcases the variety of caravan parks, camping areas and tourist accommodation situated on some of the most stunning locations around NSW.

If you are a park manager of an accommodation facility on Crown lands and would like to be included on this website, please contact us.
