If camping is your style then the Tumut Region offers an abundance of opportunities. You can find the perfect spot for your swag, tent, caravan or motorhome.
The Thomas Boyd Trackhead or Rock Flat Campground on the Goobragandra River provides for a range of activities; walk on the Hume and Hovell Track, paddle your canoe down the river or throw a line in the river.
Important information
Camp fires in provided fireplaces only and subject to fire restrictions.. Camping and open fires are not permitted within the amenities enclosure.
You are advised that the water is not suitablefor drinking unless it has been boiled for at least 10 minutes. Noise Pollution Curfew 10pm including generators. Clean your fish by the river away from the amenities area. Please keep this area and thebarbecue area clean so that everyone can enjoy the facilities.
Please take all your rubbish away with you. Pets must be kept under control at all times. No dogs allowed on private property. Please respect the private properties which surround the trackhead and the walking track. Report any damage or concerns to the Manager or phone (02) 6947 9945.
