Sandy Point is a river reserve that offers free primitive camping. There are toilet & BBQ facilities, picnic tables & chairs, a walking/cycling trail and a beautiful sandy beach along the river.
There are two entries to Sandy Point; one via Brunker Street adjacent the skate park and another at the western end of Water Street.
Important information
Access roads are dirt and are normally closed during and/or after a rain event.
