Copeton Northern Foreshores campground is located on the picturesque foreshores of Copeton Dam, 17 kilometres from Inverell. The site is nestled amongst a Flora and Fauna reserve and is operated as a primitive camping area.

Toilet and shower amenities with hot and cold water are provided and the grounds have a resident caretaker onsite. Copeton has a reputation as a great recreation and fishing destination, offering opportunities for water sports and catching a huge Murray cod. There are 67 different species of birds for the avid birdwatchers.

Important information

Auburn Vale Road is fully sealed to the camp ground. All the powered sites are level and have water. There are fire pits and barbecues on site and a dump point available near the amenities.
